Support Committee

If you are a parent or a member of the community and would like to get even more involved, joining the Support Committee might be the best opportunity for you. The Support Committee functions much like a Parent's Council that you would find in any elementary or high school.

The Support Committee is made up of parent and community volunteers and includes an elected Executive Committee.  The Committee provides support to, and works closely with,  the Commanding Officer, corps staff and cadets, in order to ensure that the aims and objectives of the Army Cadet program are being achieved.  The Committee assists the Commanding Officer in recruiting Cadets and publicize the Corps' activities within the community.  The Committee also organizes fundraising events such as Tagging weekends, and provides financial support with the funds received through fundraising and donations. All members must be screened by the Army Cadet League of Canada prior to joining the Support Committee.
