Consistent Updates & the Unit Calendar
The Unit Calendar contains dates for training nights, fundraising events, field training exercises, as well as other important and fun activities. We also have a Facebook Group to make general announcements that could require immediate attention, so keep an eye out for posts!
Cadets and parents are expected to check our social media and Google Calendar weekly,
as they are active platforms that will update as changes occur at any time.

Absences
If a Cadet is late they must report to the Administration Officer upon arrival.
If a Cadet cannot attend a Cadet-related activity, they must notify staff ahead of time by either:

- Calling on Wednesday night (343-451-0226) starting at 1745 hrs (5:45pm)

Changes to Personal Information
If you have changed your address, contact information or renewed your health card you must inform the Administration Officer of these changes by:
Having up-to-date information is very important so we can contact you and your Cadet at any time.
Please note that your Cadet cannot participate in any Cadet-related activity without a valid health card.

It is important for your Cadet to learn to properly manage their time in order to balance their activities. Cadets who are absent for 3 consecutive training nights will be spoken to in order determine their commitment to the program. The CO has final jurisdiction over the future of the Cadet’s participation in the unit.
Participation in the following activities is mandatory to complete the Star Level requirements:
- Minimum of 1 Field Training Exercise
- Minimum of 2 Poppy Campaign shifts
- Minimum of 2 Fundraising shifts
- Participation in a Remembrance Day Parade
- Participation in the Annual Ceremonial Review

Cadets at the Master Cadet level are trained to take on teaching
