Competitive Marksmanship Program
Who We Are
|
The Competitive Marksmanship Program (CMP) comprises the most elite precision shooters at 2332. A high degree of dedication, determination, mental management, and commitment is required to be in this highly skilled and competitive program.
|
CMP members train twice a week; Monday evenings and Sunday mornings starting in January. Members are expected to develop their own mental program with the help of a training journal. The competition season consists of three progressive parts: Zones, Regionals, and Nationals. The team also competes in additional competition events alongside other cadets and shooters on the civilian circuit, such as the LSBA matches, DCRA Winter Postals, 2332 Invitational Shoot and the 10.9 Enligne challenges.

How To Join |
We host Junior and Open Development nights starting in September and running through to the Holiday break in December. Cadets are encouraged to come out to these opportunities to gain experience and skills during this time. Every cadet in the Corps will have the chance to qualify for the CMP, regardless of experience or marksmanship ability. If successful in making the first qualification round, you will then start practicing with the best marksmen at 2332. In mid-February, there will be a second qualification round, for which 5 cadets will make the final team selection, usually 3 seniors (15-18yrs) and 2 juniors (12-14yrs). We often enter 2 teams for competitions, so the team spots are then doubled as a result.
